The GH annual Art Expo takes place the night of Open House, Tuesday April 14!
Each student typically gets to display up to FOUR PIECES OF ART (two paper, two 3-D) from their biweekly CSMA Arts4All class with Ms. Carmen!
If we want the Art Expo to be as sensational as we imagine, parent help is critical in all phases of prep!
1. During Art Class
- Your child gets art every other Monday or Friday
- Room Parents and Teachers are calling for volunteers on every single art day! Stay in touch with your Room Parent and Teacher to sign up to volunteer for these!
- CLAY DAYS are the 1st two weeks of February & 1st two weeks of March. Helping hands needed!
- PORTFOLIO CATCH-UP February 20, 23, 27, and March 16 are great days for parents to help with Portfolio Catch-Up while volunteering during art class.
- Feb 20 (Senf at 8:40, Yoon at 10:20, Gillman at 11:25, Devoto at 1:25)
- Feb 23 (Binene at 9:00, Martinez at 10:20, Rauch at 11:25, Seligman at 1:25)
- Feb 27 (Kunz at 8:40, Yee at 10:20, Tam at 11:25, Papas at 1:25)
- Mar 16 (Shreve at 9:00, Kelley at 10:20, Pratt at 11:25, Frankel at 1:25)
2. Week before Art Expo - Mount & hang art
3. Day of (and day before if we get access) - Turn MPR into an art gallery
In addition to the volunteers that Room Parents and Teachers get for art class times, we need ART EXPO LEADERS!
