FAQ:

  • How do I get involved? Whether you have one lunchbreak to come plant flowers with students on campus or are passionate about continuing to build the school's climate for collaboration, inclusion, and enrichment, there's a way to get involved! Here's what to do next:
    • See an available position (above)? If you see an available position (above) that you'd like to learn more about, please contact our Parliamentarian (parliamentarian@georgehallpta.org) for more details and to apply.
    • Help out without joining the Board? If you would like to lend a hand in other ways without joining the Board, please make sure to complete this 2023-24 Community poll to tell us about your superpowers and contacts you can bring to the GH Community. We'll be in touch as your preferred types of opportunities arise!
    • Join a "Spirit Squad" of parent volunteers who are willing to serve as Planners, Decorators, Organizers, and Helpers at PTA events when they have the time. Fill out this Spirit Squad Google Form and you will be added to our Community Group on ParentSquare! Don't forget to download the ParentSquare App on your phone!
  • How much time does it take to be on the Board? Not much! You'll attend monthly in-person board meetings (virtual option available) monthly to discuss what's happening on campus, upcoming events, challenges, etc.; as well as perform the duties of your role when needed.
