Dear George Hall -
Welcome! We are excited to welcome you back after your summer break. As we continue to move forward as a community, it is important to remember the mission of the PTA - to positively impact the lives of children and families. Together at George Hall, we can support this mission through our PTA’s wide-ranging efforts of supporting school and district programs, hosting community building events, and giving direct help to the educators and students at George Hall. As a member of the George Hall PTA you are a voice for our children, and part of the largest child advocacy program in the nation. You can support the George Hall PTA by:
- Becoming a PTA member - visit our website www.georgehallpta.org to join, and for more information on our PTA.
- Volunteering - get involved, and share your talents and time with our school.
- Donating – consider providing resources and time.
The PTA also intends to continue our work around making connections and building community, and our theme this year is Strengthening student-centered connections. We hope to host events and programs that will create connections for students, teachers, staff and parents.
Finally, just a reminder that our first PTA Association meeting will be held virtually and in-person on Tuesday, August 23rd at 5:30 pm (https://bit.ly/3aWUgWj). We are very excited to bring events back to campus and our association meeting will precede the Back to School Night event. We will approve our budget and calendar for the 2022-2023 school year, and discuss programming we hope to support this year. We appreciate any ideas and feedback from our community.
George Hall really is a special place - we have an amazing community of students, parents, community members, administrators, teachers and staff. Let’s have a great year!
